![]() ![]() scroll down and click "Advanced Sound Options > App Volume and Device Preferences" right click your speaker icon in the bottom-right system tray and select "open sound settings" launch the game, wait for it to boot, then Alt-Tab to your desktop I found out that the game, for some reason, makes windows drop the specific RDR2 app-volume way below system default volume. but nothing works, so people just play with the system volume on max, and the game churns out just barely acceptable sound levels (sadly, very little bass though). People have gone through all the normal channels like max speaker volume, max game volume, changing speaker/headphone setting, checking the sound mixer, etc. The sound works, its just that on system full-volume, the game sounds like it's only outputting a third of your true audio system output. ![]() ![]() Seems to happen on Win10 PCs, game bought through Steam, running Realtek drivers, after a recent Rockstar patch. I see a lot of people have issues with RDR2 being way too quiet on the volume output. ![]()
